Just got your VSH-3 sharpeners for the Norelco 8171XL. They really work! The sharpened blades are nearly as good as brand new blades ( which run 35 dollars for one set!). I used to shave until the blades would go really dull, now I can sharpen them monthly and get a great shave. Great product! Worth the money!

Two or three months ago we had an e-mail exchange about sharpeners for my Norelco. You did not have my model listed on your web site. After several tries I said I was going to give up. You offered to continue looking and when you did you e-mailed and told me they were in the mail, as a gift, because of all the difficulty.
Before they arrived I had an emergency surgery and have just now reached the stage where I am mobile.
The first thing I did was try out your sharperners.
WOW.....it's like a new razor. I can't believe what a great job it did and how easy it was to accomplish the sharpening.

These sharpeners have helped me extend the life of my Norelco Advantage heads. I usually have to purchase new shaver heads every 10-11 months.
With the Shaver Sharpeners I can, at least, double the life of my shaving heads. That's an incredible cost savings to me since the heads are so expensive. Best of all, it is so easy to sharpen my heads with the shaver sharpeners. It has become routine for me to sharpen them every couple of months to maintain the edge that the heads came with when they were new.

I’ve just received my sharpeners thanks and used my renewed shaver for the first time this morning. What a difference!!!
It was a pleasure to have a quick shaving experience as those cutters performed just like new. I priced replacement cutters the other day at my local store and your sharpener pack was less than half the cost. This way, the original blades will outlast the philishave itself which is great news.

I used to waste money replacing my Norelco rotary blades until I tried these shaver sharpeners, and was amazed at how well they worked! I've reused the same blades over and over for months after they should have been trashed, and must admit my shave is quick and close. I have been in Japan for the last month and just got back to work this morning. Wading through about 600 e-mails and found yours among them.
For what it is worth, I am very pleased with the results of your sharpeners. My blades were in such bad shape that shaving would lug down the motor. I used them as instructed and believe me they do the job. My razor is shaving like new. As a matter of fact, I was so impressed with them that the thought occurred to me that I might get involved in the sales of them down here after I retire next year.

Thanks for the sharpener! The product works just as advertised. The blades I have in my shaver seem to be as good as they ever have been after running them in your sharpener. I would expect to find your product in every department store that sells electric shavers, including Wal-Mart. The sharpener has a much more reasonable cost than buying new blades, and
they would appear to last for many sharpenings, perhaps the life of the shaver. There will always be customers for new replacement blades, but I would expect that there would be even more people interested in sharpening their existing blades, especially with the cost savings involved. I think consumers like to have a choice. As well, I certainly like the concept
of renewing a product rather than buying new and throwing out the old parts such a waste.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but the holidays have been busy. I have used your blade sharpener on two of my razors. I have a Remington R842 and a Norelco 4601X. The Remington was the razor I have been using and the first I used the sharpeners on. The sharpeners worked so well I used it on my old Norelco which I had retired when I brought the Remington. I had been using the Remington for about six months and was never as satisfied with it as the Norelco. After sharpening the Remington, it worked better than it did when it was new. I next sharpened the Norelco and though it worked well, I now prefer the Remington to the Norelco after sharpening both with your product. The only downside to your product was the instructions are a little skimpy. The sharpeners are made for the Norelco razor and so are the instructions, but I did not have any problem figuring out how to use them with the Remington.

I just sharpened my Norelco shaver using your product. I would like to report that my four year old shaver is now shaving as close as when it was first purchased. Your product truly performs as advertised. I was going to purchase replacement cutting heads for my Norelco when I
found your product on the internet. Instead of paying $25- $30 for a new set of cutting heads that will soon dull, I now have the option of reshapening my shaver as often as needed. My guess is that Phillips and Remington will not be very excited about this option.

Jim, I have used your sharpeners on both my Reflex Action and Quadra Action razors and have noticed a marked improvement in their shaving performance. My Reflex Action Model 5865 is probably five years old while my Quadra Action Model 6885 is about two years old or so. Both units have their original cutters and heads and their shaving performance have deteriorated, based upon how long and hard I had to work to get a close shave, as compared to when the shavers were new. After using the Vollco sharpeners, the LCD display on the 6885 indicates that I am now spending approximately 2 minutes per shave, as compared to 4 minutes previously. I also have significantly less skin irritation since I no longer have to do multiple passes over the same spots to get a good shave.
Based on my experiences with the Vollco Sharpeners, I would heartily recommend them to anyone using a Norelco rotary razor. Your product has made my morning shave much more pleasant and helped me avoid having to open my wallet for a new set of cutters and heads!!!! What more could I ask for!!!.

I own a shaver shop in Perth western Australia. Two months ago I purchased
from shaver shack a set of Vollco sharpeners. I decided to try them out
on shavers that I was repairing for my customers. So far I have sharpened
around 60 sets of Philips blades. I used only one set of sharpeners. Amazingly
the sharpeners are showing minimal signs of ware. The blades that were
sharpened were between three and six years old, the heads were in good
condition, i.e. No dents, bumps, or missing fins. As
I had sharpened them for free, I asked the customers if they could
spare the time to provide feedback about any improvements to the blades.
To date seven customers came back and said they could not believe the difference,
and around eighteen phoned to give similar results. Well done Vollco.
